About Ruth

From a young age, Ruth enjoyed creating houses for her toys and rearranging furniture in her home. Those early interests led her to the pursuit of an associate’s degree in Interior Design. During her studies, Ruth developed a passion for residential design. She believes families should enjoy their homes and it should be a place they can relax or entertain. Ruth enjoys using creative and technical design skills and looking at problems from multiple angles, but is not limited by style type.

Ruth has over three years of experience working in a showroom for granite and marble countertops and shower glass, and has worked as an intern with an Interior Designer in Dallas. Her technical skills include Revit, AutoCAD, Manual Drafting, Microsoft Office Suite, and some work in SketchUp. She is based in the DFW area.

In her free time, Ruth enjoys spending time with her husband, family, and friends, taking photos of nature, baking desserts, and serving in her church. She is fond of anything Disney, always laughs at a good pun, and never says no to chocolate. Her themes for the year are BLOOM and COURAGE, which encompass both her professional and personal life.
